On one of Vancouver's top morning shows, almond advocate Desiree Nielsen provided tips to avoid stress eating. She recommended keeping the crunch going with almonds and if plain almonds won't do it when craving chips you can add flavour as in her tamari almond recipe. She highlights that they contain all healthy fats and plenty of protein that will not spike blood sugar and keep you energized so always keep some on hand.
